Todd Jamison Irby was not only my cousin, he was like a father. We all miss him terribly, but know that he is with the Father.

Todd,
I love you so much. We all miss you and wish you had not left us, but God had other plans. He wanted one of his best to be with him, instead of enduring pains here on this earth. You were a wonderful husband, father, son and friend. Thank you for the light you shone on the world and thank you for caring so much for my brother and I when we needed you most.

Gone but not forgotten

The years we've shared have been full of joy.
The memories we've made will go on and on.
I haven't stopped crying since you went away,
and I've asked God time and time why couldn't you stay.
You lit up my life, my hopes, and my dreams.
You've opened my eyes to see what it all means.
So now that you're gone how can I forget;
Because you were the greatest out of all I have met.

Letting go of you

I know I have to let you go.
How I will I do not know.
I know that it's your time to die.
What I don't know is how to say goodbye.
I'll miss you so much I don't know what to do.
I guess I'll just end this poem with a goodbye and an I love you.
